YWCA Lolie Eccles Early Education Center (LEEEC) Payment Policy

 

Please carefully read all of the policies.

Registration, activity, and all other fees are non-refundable.

 

Registration Fee

  • A one-time non-refundable registration fee of $100 per child is due to YWCA Utah at the time of enrollment.
  • Included in the first registration fee is one complimentary YWCA membership for parents who opt-in.

Activity/Materials/Supplies Fee

  • A non-refundable annual activities fee is due September 1st of each year. Fees are based on the classroom: $25 (Infants); $75 (2’s); $150 (3’s); $250 (4/5’s) and $550 (kindergarten). 

Tuition

  • Tuition payments are transferred by the 10th of each month. Tuition payments are made via ACH transactions. Any bank account change requires a new form to be submitted to the Finance Department. Failure to provide information for timely payments will result in late fees.
  • Tuition is to be paid regardless of child’s attendance. There are no fee reductions for vacations, holidays, or snow closures.
  • It is the YWCA’s policy to not carry past due balances. A late fee of $25.00 will be charged after the 15th of each month for any unpaid charges. Late fees are billed monthly and will continue to be charged until the balance is paid in full.
  • All bank charges related to payment problems will be the responsibility of the LEEEC parent/guardian.
  • Unpaid tuition may result in forfeiture of your child/children’s spot at LEEEC.
  • Full tuition is required to hold your child’s space in the event of extended absences.
  • There is a 10% discount on the oldest child’s tuition for families that have more than one child enrolled in the Center. This discount only applies to full-time monthly tuition and it excludes kindergarten.
  • Kindergarten
    Kindergarten tuition includes before-school care (7:30am-8:30am), after-school care (3:00pm-5:30pm) and Day Camp days.

Day Camp Days

  • LEEEC offers Day Camps for days when school is not in session during the regular school year and YWCA Utah/LEEEC is open.
  • Children enrolled in LEEEC’s kindergarten, their siblings and community children between ages 5 and 12 can attend Day Camp.
  • Day Camp days are included in the tuition for children enrolled in the LEEEC kindergarten.
  • For children not enrolled in kindergarten, a daily fee of $50 is due prior to child’s attendance at Day Camp. Payment can be made online at www.ywcautahearlyed.org.

Summer Camps

  • LEEEC offers a variety of weekly camps during the summer for children ages 5 to 12.
  • When camp falls on a short holiday week 80% of the full week fee will be charged.
  • Summer camps are for the full week and are not available on a per day basis.
  • Camp registration opens in the spring. Register online at www.ywcautahearlyed.org for the weeks your child(ren) will be attending.
  • Full payment is due and payable online during the registration process.
  • Summer Camp Cancellation:
    - Written notification to the Director of LEEEC is required to cancel a camp week.
    - Cancellation is due by May 5, 2021. If cancellation is given during that time, 100% refund less a $25.00 per child transaction fee will be offered.
    - No refund will be given if cancellation notice is received after May 5, 2021 – weekly camp fees will be forfeited.
  • - Cancellations due to COVID-19 will be refunded in full

Other Charges

  • A $25.00 return check fee will be charged on insufficient funds.
  • All credit card processing charges, when applicable, are charged to the parent / guardian.
  • LEEEC closes promptly at 5:30 p.m. There is a late pick-up fee of $3.50 per child for every minute past 5:30 p.m.

Leaving LEEEC

  • Notification of a child’s withdrawal from LEEEC must be made in writing and given to the Director one month before the exit date. If proper notice is not given, a full month of tuition will be due and payable in full.
  • The finance department will prepare the final bill. Any and all charges are due at the time of exit.
